Welcome to my website.  I am an author, trainer and adviser who specialises in welfare rights and social policy issues.  I also have experience in performance management and strategic planning of advice services.  On this website you can find out about my services and training courses as well as information about my publications, please scroll up to the links at the top of this page. All of my services can be tailored to meet your organisation's needs, so I'm always happy to discuss your requirements without any obligation. You can contact me by clicking here.

I have over thirty years experience of welfare rights work - this has been as a front-line adviser as well as an advocate, trainer, author, strategic manager and policy adviser.  I have represented claimants at all levels of the appellate system and have also been involved in judicial reviews of social security and related matters.  I also have significant experience of advice and advocacy in debt and housing law.

Also available on this website, are standard letters for advisers and a huge list of useful links for welfare rights advice.  Over 1000 people a month use these resources.

I am working towards becoming a greener business - recycling all waste, using recycled paper, using energy-efficient appliances and electricity from windpower, and minimising my use of cars and planes.
